About
Cobertizo is a cultural home in Jilotepec, Estado de Mexico, where creativity, community, and collaboration come alive. Surrounded by mountains and rooted in rich traditions, it offers artists a space to explore their work, connect with others, and find inspiration in both nature and culture. With private studios, communal areas, and curated cultural programming, Cobertizo provides the ideal environment for reflection, growth, and exchange.
Our Partnership
Through the Los Primos Grant we proudly sponsor selected artists to participate in a residency at Cobertizo. This grant covers key residency costs and creates the opportunity for recipients to immerse themselves in an international community of creatives while expanding their practice in a supportive setting.
Why Cobertizo
Our connection to Cobertizo runs deeper than its inspiring environment. The residency is owned and operated by Kevin and Jack’s cousins, which makes this partnership a deeply personal extension of our mission. Supporting Cobertizo through the Los Primos Grant not only honors Kevin and Jack’s memory but also strengthens family ties and amplifies their legacy of creativity, resilience, and community.
At Cobertizo, artists gain access to:
